How do you find the love of your life?

That title should have the ‘do’ in italics.  How ‘do’ we do that?  If we had a quickfire answer, well then, we would all be supremely happy and content in terms of our relationships wouldn’t we?

But as we all know, it’s not quite so easy. Here are some tips to get started though…

Let everyone you know be aware that you are receptive to introductions – the six degrees of separation theory applies to dating and love too!

Get Out

I have lost count of the amount of friends who would love to find their soul mate but expect them to knock on their door.  No, they won’t.  You need to get out and meet lots of people.

Do it

Do things you enjoy doing, but do them with others.  Yes you love art or reading but don’t do it on your own.  Join an art appreciation society or a reading group.  Like fine dining?, well join a group for that too.

Think about who you are really looking for.  Think about past relationships, think about what you would dearly love to have in your next relationship.  Make a list if you like, but be flexible too.  Be realistic and reasonable. Will it matter so much of your perfect soul mate is 5ft 8″ rather than 6ft 2″ or a size 12 rather than a 10?

Some personal cards that you can hand out at any opportunity – take a look at our blog post on what your card says about you.

Mess around. Don’t be half-hearted.  This is life changing stuff. Be serious and then you will find your love life will get serious.

It’s Tougher than you thought?

Of course finding the perfect match is a complicated process and the above points are valuable and obvious. But some can be more difficult than others.  What if your circle of friends can’t introduce you to the right person?  What if you don’t have lots of time to devote to your hobbies and pastimes and what if you are not the most outgoing person in the world?

Ah ha!

Elan London brings all of those obvious factors together when working towards finding your life partner.

In the old days of introduction agencies, you would simply be matched with other people (good or bad) who had approached them and therefore that’s all they had to offer.

BUT…   in addition to introducing you to other clients, we network 7 days a week so you don’t have to. Imagine your own army of very capable personal assistants networking at London’s finest gatherings to find your partner….

Examples of our recent networking activities in London include:  Private Jet owners reception, Bonhams, Christies, Annabels, 5 Hereford Street, The Royal Enclosure at Ascot, Henley Stewards Enclosure, Grouchos, Soho House, House of Lords and numerous exclusive private parties across London and much more.

We do, of course, meet with every client to establish exactly what they are looking for. We also thoroughly vet all introductions, so you don’t have to worry about less than honourable intentions.

We liaise with you to establish your perfect match.  With a little probing, what you thought is your ‘type’ may be wrong for you and may consequently be why you have never found the ‘one’ previously.

Feedback is crucial after each introduction. Every person you meet will get closer to that ‘one’ via our robust feedback process.

That all makes perfect sense to us and we so are passionate about what we do, we would love to talk some more about it.
